Join us for a comprehensive and hands-on Birth Preparation Partner Workshop. This workshop is designed to empower both birthing individuals and their partners or birth helpers with practical tools for labor and birth. This four-hour workshop takes place in a welcoming environment, creating a calm and supportive space for learning and connection.

Our approach to birth preparation is holistic, inclusive, and professional. We combine physiological knowledge with yogic and traditional practices.

 

Who is welcome?

This workshop is for you if you’re giving birth or supporting a loved one who is. No prior experience is needed — just a willingness to learn and support each other!
Come as you are, and leave feeling empowered, connected, and ready for birth.

Together, you and your birth partner will explore


 

Stages of labor – understand the progression of labor and the tools that can be used in each stage.

Breathing Techniques for Labor (Pranayama) – Learn how to harness the power of breath to stay grounded, focused, and relaxed during labor.

Rebozo – Discover how this traditional Mexican shawl can be used for comfort, relaxation, and optimal baby positioning. An activity you and your birth partner can engage in during labor and throughout pregnancy.

Natural Pain Relief Strategies – Hands-on techniques, including acupressure, massage, and movement, to ease discomfort and promote relaxation. Learn to enhance focus and control during pain.

Labor Positions & Partner Support – Practice a variety of positions that encourage progress in labor while enhancing connection and support from your birth partner.

This workshop also includes mindfulness practices, relaxation techniques, and practical ways to navigate the intensity of labor as a team. Gain confidence and prepare holistically for birth.

Emma, Prenatal Teacher

I have e deep passion for supporting mothers through the transformative journey of pregnancy. I create safe and nurturing spaces for you to connect with your body, the growing life in your womb, and prepare for birth. With a background in yoga and psychomotor therapy I draw on yogic as well as somatic practises. My classes combine gentle movement, breathwork, and relaxation techniques to help you find strength, calm, and confidence as you navigate this transformative time. I'm committed to supporting you every step of the way, fostering a sense of community and empowerment on your path to motherhood.

Francisca, Midwife

As a midwife I’m dedicated to sharing my knowledge and experience on pregnancy, labor and beyond. I believe that awareness and information lead to confidence and self-efficacy, which are key to dealing with the endeavors of parenthood. I focus on creating resources in preparation for birth, that can be used both by laboring and supporting part. I furthermore try to combine my clinical profession with a holistic approach that enables me to make use of my passion for breathwork, acupressure and natural medicine.
