Handstand Workshop
Do you want to get a free taste of our upcoming handstand courses?
This free session is a special exchange: You’ll receive insights, guidance, and very useful practice tools for handstands in return for allowing us to capture the energy and beauty of our community through photos and videos for our promotional material.
Expect a safe and playful atmosphere where you will learn, explore, and connect — whether you're just starting your handstand journey or looking to refine your practice.
During this special session, Andrés will focus on two fundamental handstand concepts, drawing from the style of teaching used in both our courses and drop-in classes. Each topic will be introduced on the whiteboard, followed by practical exploration tailored to your needs and level:
• Understanding Balance (Beginner Focus):
An exploration of the handstand foundation for those newer to handstands, exploring how balance works, how it can be developed, and what to look for in your own practice.
• Setting the pillars to the Press to Handstand (Intermediate Focus):
A dive into tools and techniques that support continued handstand development—especially in relation to building the strength, technichal elements, and understanding needed to build up the press into a handstand (the magic entrance to a handstand without jumping).
Handbalancing, like yoga and play, is less about the final result and more about the journey itself. Join us to learn something new, support our community, and have some fun upside down!
