Introduction

Denmark or online Oct 25, Nov 1, 8, 15 & Goa, India Nov 23 - Dec 9, 2025

Welcome to KAILO’s 200 hour foundational yoga teacher training.

Join us for a journey into the healing power of yoga and into the magic of sharing the practice. Covering the depths of yoga history, exciting philosophical topics and their application in the modern world, understanding of the body on the muscular, skeletal, neural and fascial level & of course into the soulful art of teaching.

We focus on modern vinyasa yoga coming from the classical ashtanga yoga system. This teacher training is for anyone wanting to become a teacher, or simply want to get to know more and learn all the nitty gritty of the practice and poses. Whatever your intention is, the training offers a safe space to discover your calling.

The training is offered in a hybrid version, meaning we facilitate partly in Copenhagen and partly abroad, in the motherland of yoga, India.

The Copenhagen phase takes place over 4 Saturdays in October-November in our studio at the heart of Copenhagen (or online if you are not located in the area). This part will be all about a deep dive into anatomy and its application in yoga. In November we’ll travel to India and spend 2,5 intensive weeks on the west coast in an oasis with a beautiful Shala, delicious food and cottages close to the water and surrounded by nature.

Our 200 hour teacher training will create a container of support, that will nourish your real voice and offer you tools to translate this beautiful ancient practice into your understanding, and into whatever is honest and real to you. We can’t wait to share our love for the practice and the art of teaching with you.

By all means, this is a deep dive.
Oceans of love

NOV 23 — DEC 9

Our Indian oasis is nestled under a palm grove amidst abundant tropical flora and fauna on the unspoiled Mandrem Beach in the north of Goa. Mandrem Beach is still something of an undiscovered gem. The main road bypasses the sleepy fishing village, and the combination of turtle protection sites on the beach, together with there being no direct, public access means that the beach in front of the sanctuary remains remarkably quiet.

We’ll explore five beautiful Yoga shalas at the resort, set within peaceful gardens amidst the coconut palms. From complete intimacy to open-aired immersion in the elements, each shala is fully equipped with props, and offers its own unique flavour to the perfect setting for mindful practice.

Tucked away on the shaded banks of a meandering river and abundant tropical nature, your journey in Goa will invite you to connect not only to the lush outer nature, but to even more abundant inner nature.

OCT 25 & NOV 1, 8, 15 @ 11.30 - 20.00

The 4 days in-depth anatomy training takes place in our studio at the heart of Copenhagen (or online). Hidden in the quiet side street just off the main street Strøget you'll find our oasis in the basement of an old Copenhagen-building. The studio offers a spacious practice room, all the essential props, changing rooms & relaxing area with small refreshments. The main train station or city hub Nørreport Station is only 5 minutes walk away. The closest metro station is Gammel Strand, 2 min walking distance from the studio.

student reviews

Demi, September 2023

No words will ever describe KAILO yoga. The beauty, love, respect and joy that this studio taught me is something that I will cherish forever. They gave me community and left me with something to believe in. I was been privileged enough to be involved in two of their magical retreats/trainings and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. (I don’t stop talking about it…) The Yoga Teacher Training hosted in India was a particular highlight for me. The knowledge shared was authentic, genuine and left me feeling so enlightened. KAILO is my home away from home and I wish for everyone to witness its beauty.

Ida, September 2023

After a short while, I decided to join their teacher training without having any decisive thoughts about wanting to teach or not, and I am SO glad I did. Everything was thoroughly planned, all while the teacher ensured a very safe space for learning new things, exploring new sides of yourself, and questioning things that you, at first, may not necessarily relate directly to yoga but overall begins some meaningful conversations to the table and growth as a person. I found their approach to be holistic, incorporating not just the physical postures but also breathwork, meditation, and philosophy seamlessly into the training. Besides, a great way to create good new connections with likeminded people. It truly elevated my understanding of yoga beyond just the physical. I highly recommend joining their teacher training if you would like to explore more about yoga and its benefits beyond just the physical. Besides, it's an opportunity to explore teaching and personal growth.

Francesca, September 2023

Doing my Yoga Teacher Training with Kailo was a unique and unforgettable experience. Cam, Dom and Miz took care of every detail, to make sure this trip was truly wonderful. Learning from three very talented and experienced teachers was one of the highlights. The YTT experience not only provided me with the skills to teach yoga, but also became a transformative journey of personal growth and self-discovery. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from such dedicated and talented people at Kailo.

Lisa, September 2023

Had the pleasure of attending Kailo‘s first Yoga Teacher Training with Cam, Dom and Miz (in Cph + India) which was the most beautiful experience! It was not only super enriching in terms of learning more about yoga but also an incredibly valuable journey through spirituality, community and self-love. I am so thankful for these women and would do it all again in a heartbeat. I can‘t recommend Kailo enough!!

Cam (@cam.origin) • Lead teacher

Born and raised in Denmark Cam always found herself seeking adventure, traveling to explore different cultures and challenging the comfort of home. When in Copenhagen she was riding high on the career path trying to balance a work life in the hectic (but creative) entertainment industry, sewing costumes, and teaching yoga. She soon realized that something needed to be set free, for the passion of yoga needed more attention. It might not make empirical sense, but this was the calling. She is now a 900+ hour yoga teacher and is currently unfolding her creative self (and dreams) through the creation and running of KAILO.

With training ranging from alignment based Iyengar yoga, to soul-searching Bhakti yoga, Cam finds herself teaching wholesome classes with encouragement to explore your mental and physical edges, that serves beautifully to introduce you to your best and most brilliant self. Cam is dedicated to offer classes that balance the sweetness of inner as well as outer work, shedding light on our individual hidden treasures.

Dom YTT

Dom (@koprdik) • Lead teacher

Dom was pulled into her first yoga class when battling anxiety. Yoga helped her to understand that there was more to herself and life than what she had ever imagined. Learning to implement this amazing practice in all spheres of life, Dom believes yoga is for everyone willing to get curious and explore - on or off the mat.

Dom’s teachings are all about creativity, playfulness and authenticity. Last year she finished her advanced 300 hour training with Dylan Werner, now making her a 730 hour registred yoga teacher, trained in Ashtanga, Rocket, Yin and Vinyasa.
